You are welcome to post messages here regarding the USS Lexington CV-16 and CV-2 history and crew during and after WWII. You can also post pictures and video. I hope this forum will help connect old crewmates and help preserve the history of the Ship and it's Crew. I am interested in having more stories from the Veterans who served our Country for my website. If you would like your story or pictures to be posted on the website that is linked to the forum (http://cannon-lexington.com) please send it in a word document to my email address: patcjohnson@bak.rr.com The picture is of me with my Dad R.C. Cannon who served as a plane captain on the USS Lexington CV-16 during WWII in 1943-1944
Best Regards, Paty Cannon Johnson

Hi, James, I wish I could provide information for you, but unfortunately I don't have any. I, too, am looking for information on my dad, James T. Rehn. He also was on the Lexington CV16 in 1944. He was a gunner on TBM Avenger, torpedo squadron VT-16. Just wanted to wish you good luck, doesn't look like folks post to this very often, and I'm new to this myself. Cheers, Donna
